Requsting Links to Modpack Pages[]
Is it possible to add the links to their respective modpacks? I saw the pages Jadedcat began and started fleshing out AS1, but general users wouldn't necessarily find the page. MaxDSterling (talk) 05:04, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
Templates[]
Are we allowed to swipe mod templates from the other wikis (specifically ftb.gamepedia.com, also a curse site)? I'm more looking into copying their mod infoboxes, crafting tables, etc. If this is too much effort that's fine. MaxDSterling (talk) 05:04, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
- FTB wiki admin here. If you want our crafting tables you'll need the tilesheet extension that we use. I don't think there's a way to share the tilesheet tables between wikis so it would take some effort to copy over existing tilesheets as well. You'll have a fun time implementing all the infrastructure needed to get the crafting grid stuff working, but once you do get it working it works pretty nice. As for the legal technicalities regarding copying content, you'd have to ask someone from Curse. Retep998 (talk) 06:38, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
- Also FTB Wiki staff here, and Jaded Packs Admin! We won't be using the FTB related templates. We will however have another "system" in place custom developed to handle specific stuff. A lot of it will be custom written, and make this wiki totally unique <3 Cblair91 (talk) 22:07, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
